Alan Drew & Lisa Guthrie have joined Ranch Marketing Associates as the RMA Central Coast Team focusing on California ranches for sale. They reside in Monterey, CA and have specialized in ranches & luxury estate properties since 1998, including the renowned Santa Lucia Preserve community. Together, they provide a breadth of background, experience and local knowledge to Ranch Marketing Associate’s clients.

Alan is a native Californian, raised on the Central Coast with a background in ranching and a love for the outdoors. His passion for the land comes naturally. The intimate knowledge of Central California and the local connections that Alan has developed over his lifetime are a tremendous benefit to his real estate clients.

Alan brings a thorough, knowledgeable, and professional customer service ethic to every transaction, every day. Having worked in the ranching and equestrian industry in California and Nevada from the ground up, Alan understands the details and challenges unique to ranch and sporting properties.

The Central California backcountry is home to many “hidden gems” and as an avid equestrian, skier, fly fisherman, mountain biker, trap shooter & backpacker, he is always enthusiastic to share his knowledge about the beauty and recreational possibilities of this area. Alan is an active member of The Preserve Golf & Ranch Clubs, Rancheros Visitadores, and Carmel Associated Sportsmen.

In addition to Real Estate, Alan is a licensed contractor and an Architectural Blacksmith, having built and installed his first metalwork commission in 1990. His work (including doors, gates, railings, fireplaces, and lighting) is placed in some of the finest homes and luxury properties in Florida, Texas, Montana, California and Hawaii.

Lisa Guthrie has been a real estate broker since 1998, starting out as a member of the development team at Santa Lucia Preserve, a 20,000-acre community with just 297 home- sites located in Carmel, CA. Lisa served as the founding broker for this renowned community as well as creating the clubs & services, managing the marketing and public relations. An MBA in finance, a career in luxury real estate & hospitality paired with a passion for the rich culture & history of the Central Coast of California have shaped her approach to Real Estate Sales & Marketing  . Sharing the great finds of this remarkable region set amidst dramatic natural beauty is a thrill; Lisa does not consider herself a “sales person” as much as a “facilitator” paring clients with the perfect property and negotiating the best possible deal.
